Love tokens

Have you ever asked for one back? I'm not talking engagement ring, I mean "I love you and I think this is perfect for you and want you to have it". Would you really want it back? Love is a tricky thing. Christian will probably be the first commenter to state that I've only experienced "loveless" relationships, but I beg to differ. I think selfless giving is the first sign of love. Even with friends. When you can give an item or an emotion, with no intention of getting anything in return, you are experiencing love. Moreover, the last thing you would want is that thing given back under any circumstance.
