i'm currently at work, and i just read a book with a kid about bats. i never really thought much about them, but maybe a bat would be a good pet. i have a pet mouse, and bats are kinda like mice with wings. i'm not afraid of mice, but i don't like birds because they flap over your head and it gives me anxiety...i don't know if this will work out. those faces are sooooo QT! like little evil flying teddy bears!

one time a bat was in our house and we thought he left.. but turns out he was just hanging out in the small fake tree in the living room for a few days!

he was so cute when we found him!

i am coming to detroit next thursday (april 23rd) hook a sista up with some bats. my roommate also told me today its really hard to keep a bat as a pet because they usually die. :(
